
Tired of the kiddie games for Chanukah? Ready for adult discussion, drinks, and dessert?
Join us! Thursday, Dec. 2, 7 PM
Join us for an adult evening celebration of Chanukah. We'll gather at 7 PM for candle lighting. You are welcome to bring your own menorah and candles if you'd like.
At 7:15 we'll move into conversations. Pick from:
• Light in the Darkness: Mystical Understandings of Chanukah, with Rabbi Bridget Wynne
• Oil Vey! Chanukah Foods Around the World, with food columnist Faith Kramer
• Christmas in a Jewish Family, with Dawn Kepler, director of Building Jewish Bridges
• Oil: Miracle or Finite Resource? with Ron Feldman, lecturer in Jewish Studies
Afterwards we’ll come together at 8:20 for chocolate, port and schmoozing (chatting).
